[Hello City! It's everyone's favourite ginger Brit (well, one of several) all up in your device.]

Alright, City? Some of you may be informed of a particular joke shop that a certain pair of wizards will be bringing your way shortly. Seeing as I'm in the neighbourhood, I thought I would treat you all with a little sneak preview.

[The camera adjusts to the light, and George can be seen standing in a darkish room. Despite the darkness, the whole decor can be seen as extremely orange and purple, with a few good shocks of magenta and lime green thrown in here and there. He turns the camera around to reveal the front counter, already loaded up with merchandise.]

Anything more than that and I'm afraid you'll have to show up for the grand opening. Hope to see you all there!

[ooc: Better watch yourselves, City. Weasley's Wizard Wheezes is almost upon you. George will be in the shop tonight taking stock/setting up. Friends and family are welcome to assume that he roped them into helping and action tag. Random visitors are also always good. :-D]

[he peers over her head into the top of the box.]

Top shelf, near the trick wands.

[And she tips her head back a little so she can look up at him, an amused grin tugging at her lips. Quality time with her brothers. That's the real reason she came down here to help, just not because she was obligated as their sister, but because she is their sister. It feels a lot like home, doing this. She imagines if she hadn't been busy when they set up shop in Diagon, she'd have done the same there as she's doing now.

So she sets a hand on her hip and slowly raising her wand-weilding one as the products lift gracefully through the air and float over to the shelves, slotting themselves neatly next to each other.]

You're going to wreak havoc on the City, both of you.

If all goes to plan, yes.

[family time is always enjoyable. He likes spending time like this with his siblings. A task at hand, no need to babble constantly. Just the comfortable silence sprinkled with a few jabs here an there.]

Here's to hoping the deities aren't your best customers.

[She glances over at him, grin teasing and eyes bright.]

I might have to turn my hair blonde and get rid of my freckles to avoid all association with you.

Too late. Everyone already knows we're related. You should have thought of this plan earlier.

I can do a bloody good American accent, too. You'd be surprised. I'll disappear and it'll be very dramatic.

You realise you'd have to cut off ties with everyone you know to be able to maintain this. Everyone, Ginny.

[She raises an eyebrow at him, twirling her wand between her fingers.]

You realise you're taking this a bit seriously, don't you? I'd never manage that, you know.

Just making sure you understand all the ramifications, Ginny. You dye your hair blonde and disapear forever, and Fred and I will have to put up with Harry moping. you remember what he used to be like. Insufferable.

[She has the grace to blush a little, but she starts to laugh, startled and pleased because she knows it's the truth and she knows George is alright with the relationship she has with the Boy Who Lived.]

So making him happy's my job, is it? No pressure or anything. Lovely.

I'm afraid that's what you signed up for. Break his heart and it's back to The Boy Who Shouted, again.

Oh, Merlin, don't remind me.

[Not that they don't get into their own fair share of rows. Or that they have, actually, since his arrival in the City. Not since being together, though she's sure that won't last long with their tempers equal matches. Ginny chuckles, shaking her head.]

Loudest summer of my life, I reckon.

Sometimes I can still hear it. Absolutely terrifying.

Next thing I know, you'll be saying he should've shouted Voldemort to death.

Would have made an impact, at any rate.

Like your shop will, I expect.

[She smiles over at him, pausing in opening another box and sorting through its contents.]

I'm really proud of you, you know. Both of you.

[He gives her a glance as he check through another box of love potions.]

We're not doing anything here we haven't already done back home years ago, Gin.

It's different here.

[She can't articulate it, but it's something about home. Something about making this place home as best they can, getting on as best they can, despite... everything. Ginny shrugs and looks back to her work, still smiling even as she murmurs,]

Forget it.

You're right. It is.

[Of course it's different here. He'll never forget that in a moment. But this is different in a way that familiar. Setting up shop with his brother - that's something he's done before. It's comforting. Safe. Not like everything back home.]

[And she looks up again, and there's a pause before she reaches out to touch his shoulder briefly. Ginny doesn't do sentimental, not in a way everyone can see, so this moment is enough but it also speaks volumes. It says it's a good sort and it's family and it's home. And then she moves on to teasing, the touch turning into a playful shove.]

Of course I'm right. I'm always right, aren't I?

[He shoves her back and ruffles her hair. Play-fighting is much easier that actually shows of affection...]

Don't let it go to your head.

Merlin forbid I get a bigger ego than Fred or Bill.

[Pause.]

Or Percy.

[She snorts, shoving him back.]

What a set of brothers we've got, eh?

What can we do? Can't choose your family.

Wouldn't change it for the world, though, would we, Georgie?
