[ Her breath immediately shortens, becoming shallow, and she feels her stomach tighten. All of this is accompanied by a rapid increase in the pace of her heart's beating, maybe a little of her mouth feeling much drier than it should... She leans down toward him slowly, eyelids heavy but gaze locked very closely on his face, as she is most certain he's about to kiss her - but then he doesn't. She lets out a heavy exhale, having held her breath completely at the last moment, and stares at him in complete awe. How? How is this her life? And why is it that she wants so badly for him to just finish what he'd started? ]
I -- erm... [ But her focus is deterred by the mistletoe now hovering over her and she looks up at it just in time to realize that she's likely going to be unable to resist its effects as she'd so hoped. She turns her attention back to him and swallows the lump rock in her throat, attempting to quell her complete and utter dishevelment at the moment. ]
Fred -... [ She reaches up and tucks her hair behind her ear, taking as deep and heavy a breath as her poor little body will allow her right now. She feels herself with the intense compulsion to kiss him, and she knows it's the curse, but she tries her best to ease herself into it. To be better at eye level, she slowly sits herself down on the fountain's lip, right next to him, turned sideways so as to face him. Her tongue darts over her lips, still drier than they ought to be, as she reaches out for his hand. It's not his face, but she tugs on him gently anyhow. She needs him to face her for this to work. It's taking pretty much all of her willpower not to just grab him and snog him senseless right now... But worth it. ]
