[ One hand slides up to cup his face as she kisses back, fingers toying with the ends of his hair. She doesn't want to talk about what Percy revealed about Fred, and she's fairly certain George wouldn't want to talk about it, either. She wants to make sure he knows she's there, though, even if it's in a rather roundabout way. ]
Then it would probably be unprofessional to ask me to turn up, wouldn't it?
[George is blissfully clueless that she's been let in on that particular family secret. And she is right about not wanting to talk about it, if he did know. For now he just reckons she was lonely and he's more than happy to give her a little company.]
[ She's definitely planning on it now, but why waste what she has right in front of her? Her other arm goes to wrap around him as she presses closer. He's solid, warm, and she knows his blood flows. It's not fair, that Fred was taken and he was left behind, and the stashed firewhiskey makes a hideous sort of sense now. His words about sticking around the City make sense, too -- if Fred is here, why wouldn't he? Wouldn't Cobb do the same, if he were convinced this weren't a dream, if Mal (the actual Mal, not the shade) were here? ]
Remember that cigarillo I was smoking during the mistletoe curse? I dropped it after Fred decided to... er, help out, but I'd gotten it earlier from a cowboy. I asked him for more the next time I saw him on the network, so he came over to drop them off. I gave him coffee and spoiled his horse a little bit and apparently he decided recreating the curse was necessary. [ Only he certainly hadn't been attached to her neck during the curse. ]
[ She snorts, shifting to give him a quick kiss without pulling them both down the stairs. 'Fun' maybe isn't the correct word, but it's definitely been interesting -- and he's a good sport about it. She's lucky. ]

It's not my fault the buttons are so bloody tiny.

[He slinks his arms around her waist as he leans down to kiss her.]

What if I'm at work?

[ Her hand slips into his hair a little more, fingertips rubbing his scalp. ]
But if I'm at my desk that day and I have nothing else to do, who else am I going to harass via text message?

[He swoops down to kiss her again, her arms tightening around her waist.]

Something on your mind, love?

It's just been a weird past few days.
[ Pause. ]
It's been a weird past few weeks, really.

Your flatmate came back, didn't he?
★ action
Eames? Yeah, he did. Three weeks for us, a few seconds for him. I had to give his lighter back.

[He grins as he says it, though, clearly not worried. You had fun this week, lady.]

His horse and I, maybe. He's too much of a tease.

[He pauses long enough to lean her against the railing, making the kiss last a little longer.]
