6 Mischiefs Managed - [Accidental video] (backdated to Monday)

[George is seated at the kitchen table, making some notes on a piece of paper. A cup of tea can be seen next to his paper. He takes occasional sips as he works, scratching his nose with the tip of his quill. Beyond his left shoulder, the kettle is thrumming away happily on the stovetop, clearly about to start boiling any minute. George pauses over his work for a moment. Then several moments. It's been quite a while and it's clear George is not moving. Behind him, the kettle starts whistling, but still he stays still, his quill poised over the paper.

After a moment, the feed cuts.]

[ooc: Yep! George got hit with the frozen carousel curse. He'll be stuck in the Weasley cabin kitchen for 24 hours. Shenanigans and face drawing is encouraged and expected. Voice/video comment will be responded to from the next day.]

You're welcome by the cabin any time. We've got some overstock you can look through.

[ This "trying not to look confused" thing is not working out as planned. ]

Can I get some directions?

I'd have t come get you, I'm afraid. Place is unplottable.

I'll bet you tell that to all the girls.

[ She laughs. ] When are you available?

[onlyholey]

For you, love? Any time.

[ There's another laugh. ] Now? I wouldn't mind getting out of this apartment.

Alright. I can be there in a minute. Where do you live?

At the moment, apartment three. [ Try not to have a heart attack over the amount of animals or the fact that it looks like a slumber party exploded over the living room. ]

[onlyholey]

Walk down to the lobby.

[Considering he can be there is 3 seconds, he'll probably beat you to it.]

[boutant]

[ There's a pause, and then Ariadne shrugs. ]

Okay-- no Pancake, stay.

[ Off to the lobby she goes. ]

[When she gets there a lanky ginger is leaning up against the walls near the elevator.]

Alright?

[boutant]

[ Cue a very credible imitation of someone not jumping in surprise. ]

That was fast.

[onlyholey]

Wait 'til the journey back. You ready?

[boutant]

Since you're a muggle, you'll have to side-along apparate with me.

[He holds out his hand for her to take. What? It's totally part of the magic.]

[boutant]

I'm going to pretend I understood all of that.

[ Ariadne takes his hand with a slight smile. 'Part of the magic' or not, it's rather convenient for him. ]

I'd take a deep breath if I were you. Apparating is less that pleasant the first time.

[WHOOOOSH]

[boutant]

[ She takes that deep breath, but it doesn't prepare her for the sensation of being jerked and displaced from the lobby, moving through space, and suddenly being deposited elsewhere.

She's vaguely aware of her grip on George's hand, but she's a bit more aware of the fact that she feels like she's about to fall over. ]

[Luckily he's done this enough times that he's there to catch her when she stumbles.]
